I would like to thank you, my American friends on behalf of my Polish People for helping them in post WW2 time.

Help was offered to Poland directly by the USA but refused under the directive of the Soviet Union.

It continued through the UN channel until 1953 as a UNRRA program.

What you see as an animated reconstruction is what I saw on Glucklich Strasse in Zabrze Silesia, Poland in one of the hazed by

heavy industry pollution days. Help was distributed to the needy in wood or waxed cardboard packages that came from the USA

or England. All basic house goodies such as sugar, food cans, chocolate, soap, toothpaste and dresses. It wast advanced military

supplies. Women were converting uniforms to normal jackets and skirts, Parachute fabric was very appreciated.

Thank  you my American friends for it.
